    Are you looking for an opportunity to build a compliance capability within an organization committed to a vision of a more free and open society that fosters long-term peace, human dignity, and well-being where people succeed by helping others?  As a Director of Compliance, you help build an internal compliance and ethics capability.  Working within the Legal team, this position will lead and facilitate implementation of a robust and sustainable compliance program for our various business units and capabilities.  This role provides the opportunity with a diverse set of organizations.



    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Lead the development and implementation of a compliance program and Code of Conduct within our various organizations
    • Develop procedures, training, auditing, and other tools for subject matter areas within compliance, such as Tax, Election, Lobbying, Conflicts of Interest, Respectful Workplace, Security, Records Management, Intellectual Property, Government Interactions, Information Security, etc.
    • Implement and support a risk management system
    • Develop knowledge, capabilities, and leadership among business, Legal, and compliance system resources
    • Consult and advise business leaders of existing and emerging issues, risks, and best practices
    • Assist in the resolution of compliance concerns and issues, ensuring they are appropriately elevated, investigated, and managed


    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • 4+ years of experience in a compliance or complex business/political environment
    • Strong project management experience
    • An understanding the business’s strategic issues and work processes
    • Experience working with legal/compliance consultants
    • Experience in the development of policies, procedures, and training materials and the capability to deliver training to diverse groups
    • Experience with MS Office
    • Strong project management experience

    Standout Candidates May Also Bring

    • Experience in developing and implementing compliance or controls, with significant exposure to implementing detailed risk management programs in a complex, highly regulated space
    • Experience working for non-profits
