    Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your experience and skills while making an impact on the country? If so, we have an opportunity for you to join the team at Stand Together to be a Legal Assistant. 

     

    As a Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of the legal team, providing support to the General Counsel and other attorneys by working against deadlines, managing calendars and filing systems, and participating in various special projectsThe right candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and hardworking. 

     

    The Legal Assistant will support administrative functions related to the General Counsel’s responsibilities in overseeing the daily operations of the legal team and contributing directly to the communitys robust compliance program 

     

     

    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Interact with internal client groups by phone, email, and in person to facilitate delivery of legal services 
    • Maintain calendars 
    • Coordinate with other departments, state chapters, and the public to share important legal information and obtain information and data required to complete all legal filings and reports 
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information in a discreet and professional manner 
    • Assist the legal team with scheduling travel, completing expense reports, and managing planning and logistics for meetings, conferences, and events 
    • Provide general office support, including faxing, copying, mail, and scheduling 
    • Assist with legal research and other special projects 
    • Carry out other duties as assigned
