  • Overview

    As a Payroll Tax Coordinator, you will be responsible for all payroll tax activities, including registrations and closings of states, managing mail distribution, assisting with data entry for tax set up, and other miscellaneous Payroll and Human Resources (HR) tasks. You will respond to inquiries from staff across the community and will partner with them to ensure consistency and promote best practices. You will also act as a liaison between Payroll/HR, Finance, Legal and UltiPro teams.

     

     

    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Responsible for all payroll tax activities and compliance within Local, State and Federal regulations
    • Set up and closures of State registrations and State Unemployment Insurance (SUI)
    • Reviews calculations and report of tax liabilities accuracy and respond to questions and special requests from states and regulatory agencies
    • Research laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures
    • Maintain UltiPro with up to date agency notices regarding rate changes
    • Organize agency filings per company and state
    • Obtain all company information (username/password) per agency, per company, per state
    • Work cross functionally with the Payroll, Finance and Legal teams to ensure all issues are handled in a timely, accurate and professional manner
    • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for interactions with UltiPro for tax filings

    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • Bachelor's degree in Business
    • Experience in Payroll
    • Self-starter in a team environment
    • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
    • Experience with change management and implementing new programs
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
    • Excitement for the vision and mission of Stand Together
