    Stand Together is seeking to hire a motivated, customer-focused, entrepreneurial individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Coordinator. This is a job experience in accounting with more freedom to optimize value and achieve your goals. Our accounts payable professionals take great ownership in their roles through an enhanced knowledge that comes from in-depth interactions with the businesses they support.



    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Communicate with both internal and external customers to gather needed information to process payments in a timely and efficient manner
    • Provide respectful customer service to all, including answering any questions from internal and external costumers
    • Understand and communicate accounts payable process including approval flows, documentation needed to process, accounts payable review processing protocols, payment scheduling, and ensure all are done in a compliant manner
    • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation
    • Show accuracy and the ability to process invoices within established workflow and adapt to changes
    • Assist in continually improving and streamlining processes
    • Assist with all payables-related items for annual audits
    • Understand and maintain 100% compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
    • Assist other accounting teams on an as-needed basis
    • Work independently and as part of a team


    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • 0-2 years of professional experience
    • Associate’s degree or other higher education
    • Demonstrated ability to acquire and explain new concepts
    • Interest in learning Accounts Payable processes and procedures
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality
    • High degree of organization and attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Flexibility and willingness to learn and change in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Results-driven approach
