  • Overview

    We are seeking a people manager with technical prowess. As a Cloud Operations Manager, you will be hands-on supporting the community in a multi-cloud (AWS, Azure) environment, as well as supporting our on-premise infrastructure. You will also be responsible for overseeing the software development lifecycle, production support, governance, security, controls, and operations for the cloud environment. 



    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Coach and mentor team members and drive a culture of operational excellence
    • Prioritize projects and ensure issues are responded to in line with cloud customer agreements
    • Create product plans, manage executions and product rollouts for Azure, AWS, and SaaS applications
    • Research, integrate, and document new cloud service provider features into existing infrastructure
    • Track metrics for health and quality of Cloud Operations Service lines
    • Partner with senior IT leadership to plan and execute on our broader Cloud strategy of infrastructure
    • Increase the utilization of cloud tools to create a highly available and low-cost infrastructure 


    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • 3-5 years of IT Infrastructure or Cloud experience (Azure, AWS)
    • 2+ years of supervisory experience
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • High degree of attention to detail
    • Scripting and programming languages (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Bash, JSON, Azure Resource Manager Templates, etc.)

    • AWS Solutions Architect Certification
    • Microsoft Azure Certification
    • IT system admin and project management experience
    • Experience managing a team that integrated legacy platforms and applications with cloud-based systems
