    The Director, Donor Partnerships is a new role focused on activating the venture arm of Stand Together’s guiding principles. You’ll leverage our current member referrals to recruit the right people into our community and help them grow by stewarding their relationships. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with a demonstrated track record of adding value as a fundraiser, leading and serving as a mentor to members of the partnership team. while simultaneously cultivating a personal portfolio of current partners and prospects. Entering a fast-paced and intentionally flexible organization, the Director will provide leadership and direction for a team of professionals with a combined portfolio of 40+ current venture partners and 200+ (and growing) prospects.

     

    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Manage the Stand Together Venture donor relations initiatives, ensuring we have the resources necessary to advance our vision
    • Develop customized member impact opportunities that best align with member goals and priorities
    • Build credibility and act independently to cultivate relationships to increase membership
    • Liaison with internal and external partners to optimize across a portfolio of opportunities
    • Collaborate with the internal communications and marketing team to create and execute personalized communications and engagement plans for each donor and prospect
    • Manage projects with multiple stakeholders to drive the donor relations objectives and seek out innovative ways to improve and grow the initiative
    • Build and oversee a system to develop opportunities and to identify new prospective partners interested in investments
    • Responsible for scaling member opportunities with growth in capacity
    • Develop membership evaluation measurements and maintain the quality of the membership portfolio
    • Plan and manage introductions to other key Stand Together partners

     

    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • High level of humility and integrity
    • Understanding and passion for partnering with social entrepreneurs to tackle some of the nation’s biggest challenges, giving every person an opportunity to realize their full potential
    • 7+ years’ experience in a professional environment
    • Experience or exposure to major gifts fundraising programs
    • Ability to drive multiple concurrent projects to completion
    • Adaptable to changing circumstances
    • Proactive, entrepreneurial, and a high sense of urgency
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
    • Ability to travel up to 50% within the United States
    • Computer literacy, including MS Office; proficiency with donor databases, such as Salesforce
