    Stand Together is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Finance and Infrastructure functions supporting our philanthropic community. We're looking for a seasoned professional with a background in developing effective financial and accounting capabilities in large, complex organizations. This strategic leader will help build a Finance and Infrastructure operation that drives innovation in the business while safeguarding financial health, improving operational effectiveness, and maintaining compliance.

     

     

    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Leverage financial and other business data to influence the strategic direction and priorities of the organization, supporting decision-making processes 
    • Ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management 
    • Investment optimization to maximize returns while managing risk; proactive management of cash flows to support the highest value allocation of resources 
    • Streamline financial and accounting functions  
    • Support the strategy development of the finance, operations, and IT functions, helping to position these teams to meet the strategic and decision-making needs of the business 

     

    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • 15 years of finance leadership experience, including as a CFO, finance officer, or relevant role
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent related experience 
    • Commitment to Stand Together's vision, values, and operating principles 
    • Track record of empowering and developing senior-level talent; equipping them with opportunities to contribute more profoundly to the organization's vision 
    • Proven ability to perform at a high-level in an agile operating environment; passion for driving progress and envisioning what could be 
    • High ethical standards, integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively across the community
    • Experience leading and managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
    • Knowledge of financial law and risk management practices, accounting principles, and procedures
    • Background in coaching others in the areas of critical thinking and decision-making; principled entrepreneurship and problem-solving curiosity; setting expectations and accountability toward progress 
    • Demonstrated success in helping a business or organization "level-up"
