  • Overview

Americans for Prosperity seeks a Policy Fellow to join its growing policy team to help foster a critical national conversation about reimagining our health care system to create better health, for more people, at a lower cost, year after year. Our philanthropic community is dedicated to breaking barriers that prevent people from reaching their full potential and improving their lives. Choice and competition in health care is necessary to driving the innovation needed in the industry, yet current policies restrict the supply of health care through burdensome provider laws and other protectionist policies. We seek a liberty-minded individual with solid policy experience in health care who recognizes that social and material progress are best enabled through economic and personal freedoms.

Our vision is a health care system that helps more people have access to higher quality care at lower costs. In such a system, providers and patients engage in mutually beneficial exchange that drives innovation in the supply of medical products and services on a level comparable with more dynamic sectors. Providers compete for patients, who can choose the highest quality health care options at the lowest costs.

If you are excited to drive a national reform agenda to help enact the vision laid out above and looking for an out-of-the-box policy career opportunity, apply today!
