  • Overview

    As a Senior Video Editor you will be responsible for editing Stand Together’s biggest stories. You will work closely with Directors and Supervising Producers to craft compelling and inspiring videos that are released across our social platforms and shown at large-scale summits for hundreds of business leaders. We are looking for someone who is passionate about documentary storytelling and editing material into a beautiful story that captures our audience’s attention from the opening scene through the credits.



    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Bridge strategic and creative needs by developing digital storytelling content
    • Craft engaging stories through creative and collaborative video editing
    • Provide video editing and oversight on a variety of short and long form content projects
    • Collaborate with internal team to create dynamic video solutions
    • Take part in brainstorms about the best way to bring a story to life visually
    • Infuse all creative decisions with storytelling purpose and practical solutions
    • Stay abreast of current trends, editing techniques and styles, as well as content platforms
    • Assemble recorded raw material into a finished project that's compelling and engaging
    • Apply expertise in post-production editing and working with footage and audio


    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • 5 years of progressively complex, relevant video/content editing experience at an agency and/or production house environment
    • Experience with Adobe creative suite and video production software and an in-depth understanding of the digital and editorial content production process
    • Knowledge of sound design
    • Prior experience and demonstrated history of delivering high-quality work
    • Affinity to working in a team environment and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
    • Critical thinking and creative problem solving 
    • Extensive knowledge of social and streaming platforms (FB, IG, Snapchat, YT) and accompanying formats and best practices
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to perform under pressure and work on multiple projects at once
    • Experience working with 4K and LOG footage as well as LUTs
    • Experience editing videos based on a creative objectives brief with minimal direction
    • Must have and share link to website and reel

    Standout Candidates May Also Bring

    • Experience with special effects, 3D, 360 video and compositing
    • Experience with long form (>3 minutes) content
