Our Research team needs you to apply your knowledge to help inform grantmaking strategies and provide funding recommendations in the Foundation’s emerging portfolios. We also seek a candidate with an eye for project management to assist in leading our Research team.

 

 

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Build an actionable perspective on new areas of investment for the Foundation
  • Help lead Foundation efforts to continually improve analysis capabilities and the team's ability to identify new areas of potential grantmaking that better advance the organization's vision
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on grant proposals relative to the Foundation’s grant portfolios
  • Develop a perspective on how the Foundation presents its grant activity and differentiates itself from similar organizations

 

 

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • 5+ years of research experience 
  • An understanding of and commitment to the principles that drive the organization’s vision  
  • A strong demonstrated interest and knowledge proficiency in relevant databases 
  • A record of successful collaboration 
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity  
  • Track record of success in a fast-paced environment, including a high degree of initiative, desire to proactively improve skills, and a willingness to pivot projects based on new information

 

Standout Candidates May Also Bring

  • Experience/knowledge of academic grantmaking
