    You are an experienced researcher that is looking to make an impact through your work. As Senior Analyst on our audience and market research team you'll work with a team that conducts public opinion research and develops messaging guidance for the Stand Together philanthropic community.

    As our Senor Analyst, you will be responsible for helping execute the team’s qualitative and quantitative public opinion research. If you have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, high attention to detail, and previous quantitative and qualitative experience leading research efforts apply now!

     

     

    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Lead and conduct all aspects of qualitative and quantitative public opinion research projects including client interface, background research, methodology design, survey and questionnaire design, vendor management, execution, in-depth analysis, and presentation
    • Use research findings to craft messaging guidance for varied audiences, both internally and externally
    • Serve as a strategic partner, working with our partners and organizations to define goals, develop strategy, and execute communications materials and campaigns

     

    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • At least 4-6 years of experience executing market research or public opinion and survey research
    • Experience writing questionnaires, in-depth analysis, and presenting findings for both quantitative survey research and various forms of qualitative research
    • Strong analytical writing skills with the ability to craft messaging for diverse audiences and varied products
    • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
    • Demonstrated interest in developing communications abilities and responsibilities
    • Ability to take initiative, collaborate, and work independently while integrating a high degree of attention to detail and organization
    • Self-starter attitude and high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office

     

    Standout Candidates May Also Bring

    • Familiarity with or interest in breaking down barriers holding people back in four key institutions of society – government, business, communities, and education
    • Openness to moderating focus groups and in-depth interviews, with a willingness to travel as needed (~20% of the time)
    • Experience with customer segmentation or targeting
    • An understanding of, or familiarity with, statistical software or packages like SPSS, SAS, Stata, R, or the Python programming language
