Overview

The Charles Koch Institute is looking for an early career project assistant with a strong ability to bring new ideas to the table about how we can more effectively drive projects towards achieving the exciting work ahead of us. If you have experience in project management and administrative or operations support, this could be the right next opportunity for you to build on your budding career. 

 

 

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Engage in elements of business operations, project management, administrative support, and other program support as requested to support the Market Based Management© team
  • Drive measurement and reporting processes on the team, data analysis where needed, vendor management, and other activities related to team operations and management of projects
  • Bring new solutions and ideas about how to more effectively manage projects on the team
  • Provide administrative support including logistics and coordination, calendar management, meeting preparation, and other support as needed to members of the team
  • Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately
  • Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality, and goals
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks to the team and stakeholders where needed
  • Measure time and resources used for projects and communicate that measurement to stakeholders and project sponsors

 

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of project management, administrative, or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated strength in communicating clearly and persuasively
  • Success proactively identifying and driving improvements in processes or other team operations
  • Humility, integrity, and professionalism
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high sense of urgency
