    You are a talent acquisition team member that wears many hats as a candidate relationship builder and application funnel manager. You have the ability to not only find the right talent, but also understand their motivation. You are known for fostering and cultivating relationships with prospective candidates and internal team members.  You are also able to think critically in a fast-paced environment and navigate processes while using strategy and judgement in candidate selection.

     

    Does this sound like you? Then join us as a Recruiter on our Talent Acquisition team. We are looking for your expertise helping to close our hardest-to-fill roles! Your focus will be on the front end of recruiting reviewing applications and conducting phone screens.  You’ll also partner with Talent Acquisition Business Partners (TABPs) to understand position requirements, drive effective hiring recommendations, and elevate the candidate experience! This is where you’ll put your knowledge of the candidate market to work! 

     

     

    Your Responsibilities Include:

    • Manage incoming applications of candidates providing timely feedback to ensure positive candidate experience and expedited hiring
    • Partner with TABPs to understand the talent needs of the organization and set the tone of expectations of the role and paint a picture of the organization for candidates before transitioning them to the TABPs
    • Conduct phone interviews to screen candidates to assess their knowledge, skills and values based on alignment to our organization vision
    • Build relationships with potential candidates on a continual basis through calls, email, and networking
    • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities
    • Execute search techniques to expand a pool of candidates necessary to staff open positions and create candidate pipelines for future needs
    • Create and post job descriptions that attract talent and reflect our business needs
    • Assist with job fairs and recruiting events as needed

       

       

    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

    • 3 years of professional office environment experience and at least 2- 3 years of experience in a recruiting,  or application management
    • Ability to evaluate candidates based on role requirements and needs
    • Experience working on various roles and in a high volume environment
    • Experience with and knowledge of screening, behavioral interviewing, selection and candidate assessment
    • Demonstrated successful experience directly soliciting passive candidates
    • Strong attention to detail, organized and excellent problem-solving skills
    • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • The willingness and desire to work independently, as well as collaboratively, and to take on additional responsibilities
    • Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial spirit 
    • Proficiency in applicant tracking software (ideally iCIMS)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel 

     

    Standout Candidates May Also Bring

    • Demonstrated ability to creatively source and outreach to candidates—a love of the hunt
    • Experience with using social networking, internet research, candidate mining, and professional organizations to source candidates and build talent pipelines.
    • Generate leads through direct sourcing methods (cold calling, job boards, etc.)
    • High volume agency experience preferred
    • Strong understanding of and excitement for the principles of a free society and classical liberalism
