The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the new development, enhancements, and integration of multiple Salesforce environments through application of best practices and industry standards. It is expected that this role will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and other developers to understand business requirements and design effective solutions.


Your Responsibilities Include

  • Build custom declarative and programmatic apps on the platform in accordance with business requirements
  • Recommend and establish best practices on development methodologies to optimize cost and speed time to results
  • Leverage DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, test, and deploy new features
  • Communicate with end-users and product managers to understand business requirements and convert them into effective solutions in accordance with Apex design patterns and object-oriented programming best practices and standards
  • Fix bugs within Salesforce and integrated systems
  • Participate in agile development process, standups, sprint planning, story estimation, execution, and retrospective
  • Develop integrations between Salesforce orgs and 3rd party applications/systems using REST API or middleware


Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
  • 3+ years of development and customization of Salesforce experience with APEX, Visual Force, API, Workflows, Community, Lightning components, and Managed packages
  • Advanced proficiency in unit testing and test-driven development
  • Experience with various ETL tools
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to identify solutions and quickly summarize recommendations and options
  • Must be experienced in agile development practices
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, SFDX
