We're looking for a seasoned professional to join the Charles Koch Institute’s Business Intelligence team and help us make healthy business decisions.


As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll join a core team that supports our development and grantmaking professionals in making informed decisions on where and when to take action and make investments. Our mission-driven community focuses on a multi-pronged, bottom-up approach to societal change, and we're building a movement around helping people realize their unique potential. Your Responsibilities Include

  • Partner with leaders/stakeholders across the organization to ensure we are effectively using data to drive informed decision making
  • Develop and improve custom data visualization and analytics tools to help teams identify trends and best practices, and support in their monitoring of progress towards business goals
  • Understand business needs, provide actionable recommendations, and communicate them effectively to business stakeholders
  • Build, develop, and maintain highly collaborative working relationships across teams to understand analytics needs, available data, and growth opportunities for the business
  • Succinctly communicate business insights to high-level decision makers throughout the organization
  • Ensure information on key metrics is accurate, complete, and reliable to support relationship management and optimize team performance
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and internal sponsors

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • 4-6 years of related analytical experience; minimum of 2 years building data solutions utilizing BI tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or other related quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • Analytical problem-solving skills; able to analyze available information, use relevant data to identify trends, offer practical and effective solutions to simple and complex problems
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Motivated, agile, with strong time management, project management, and analytical skills
  • A proven record of driving complex and cross-functional business intelligence projects to their completion
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Excitement for the ideas of classical liberalism and helping people break down barriers to improve their lives
  • Prior exposure to working with a CRM, (preferably with Salesforce) would be ideal 
  • Previous data visualization experience, (preferably with PowerBI, Tableau) or a basic understanding of the concepts
