Overview

The Charles Koch Institute seeks a driven, detail-oriented, and inquisitive intern to join the operations wing of the Education Programs team to support the behind-the-scenes of our internship and fellowship programs. It is an exciting time to be part of the Operations Team as we build out our new Learning Management System (LMS) and upgrade our database. In this role, you’ll be challenged to create new processes and systems and see your impact in real-time. The ideal candidate is a true team player and thought partner, who is passionate about creative problem solving and interested in supporting the team behind-the-scenes.  

 

 

Your Responsibilities Include

 

  • Data and system input and maintenance, with an emphasis on data integrity and innovative reporting to better support the Education Programs’ evolving goals 
  • Assist in creating training/best practices guides for team platforms and tools 
  • Maintain training calendar for programs 
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Operations Team

 

 

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

 

  • Interest in data management, systems, and process improvement 
  • Propensity for systems, puzzles, and efficiency 
  • Eagerness to identify gaps, problem solve, and find creative solutions 
  • Desire to collaborate and translate the big-picture vision into day-to-day operational effectiveness 
  • Comfortable with and interested in data system management and customer service 
  • Experience in LMS management and Salesforce preferred 
  • This role reports to the Operations Coordinator and will work on both specialized projects and recurring tasks to advance the team’s mission and vision.
