At Stand Together we are working to accelerate the efforts of those that are tackling the greatest societal challenges of our time. Bringing about meaningful social change will require new and innovative ways of getting people to engage with things they care deeply about (e.g. Education, Poverty, Criminal Justice Reform, etc.).  To help us get there, we are looking for experienced brand strategists with a proven track record of launching brands, products, and large-scale supporting campaigns.   


We are looking for leaders that know how to translate a val-prop into compelling activations that break through.  You’ve taken a product concept through to a major multi-channel launch and managed it through multi-year milestones. Does this sound like you? If you get excited talking about the needles you moved, we should definitely talk.   


As a Director, Brand Strategy you will be working directly with our leadership team to interpret goals into actionable plans that drive meaningful results.  For us to engage millions we will need to work backwards from key audiences that will help us get there. You’ll bring deep experience in working with insights teams to identify research needs, interpret findings and translate those findings into product and marketing efforts

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Partner with issue-specific portfolio leaders to develop long term strategies that connect back to the Stand Together brand strategy  
  • Lead the development of integrated campaigns that advance core objectives  
  • Identify and develop engagement opportunities to inspire key audiences to take action 
  • In partnership with the Insights team, develop key metrics and measure impact of activations  
  • Work with cross functional teams to translate insights into rapid prototype solutions that solve problems in innovative ways 

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization


  • 7+ years of professional experience in related fields 
  • Deep experience in translating high level objectives into strategic and tactical plans 
  • Superior influence and communication skills 
  • Proven ability to develop, execute and evaluate integrated product and marketing strategies 
  • Track record of developing innovative concepts into engaging products 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with key internal/external partners and stakeholders 
  • Highly organized and a proven ability to deliver on tight deadlines
