We’re looking for big, innovative ideas – we foster a culture of experimentation and creativity. You understand how to foster the creative process while also completing deliverables on time. You thrive when building and coaching a team, working to build a world class creative capability. In this Creative Director role, you’ll oversee a team of in-house designers, manage external agency partnerships, drive strategy, campaign execution, art direction, and much more!


Your Responsibilities Include

  • Provide creative oversight and direction in the development of brand strategies and creative briefs for a diverse set of issues across websites, print and digital media, video, email campaigns, corporate communications and more
  • Build our creative capabilities through training, mentoring, and inspiring the internal design team, while also working to identify, cultivate, and manage external agency partners
  • Work closely with other members of the marketing organization to develop brand standards for the company, identify new opportunities to enhance the brand across all mediums, and identify scalable solutions that empower others
  • Ensure all creative, marketing, and corporate materials conform to brand standards for consistency in visual identity, messaging, and positioning, including voice and personality
  • Develop tactics that bring creative concepts to life and achieve program objectives
  • Oversee multiple projects through all stages, from concept through to production, and ensure effective prioritization of resources with our in-house design team and external agency partners
  • Collaborate with various project managers, department heads and senior management in a highly matrixed environment
  • Proactively evaluate new trends and industry standards to remain current with the latest marketing and communications practices
  • Plan and conduct internal and competitive creative audits
  • Prepare and present creative presentations for internal clients and senior management


Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization 


  • 10+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or other relevant fields
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing high performance teams, with an emphasis on building, managing, and motivating individuals
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-volume, collaborative production environment
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a demonstrated talent for abstract problem-solving, spotting trends and patterns, an innate curiosity and insight into human behavior, an instinct for popular culture, and a nuanced understanding of creative work
  • Ability to work across teams and disciplines to deliver success and achieve superior outcomes
  • Collaborative work philosophy both within the team and across departments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach a team of designers, driving a positive culture and camaraderie
